Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to send us, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, website URL, project details, budget range, goals, and any notes you include in a contact form, project intake form, audit request, email, or phone conversation.
If you use the free audit tool, we collect the website URL you submit and basic audit results returned by the audit service. If you use the client portal, we collect the email address you submit so Stripe can look up the correct billing portal account.
We also collect basic technical and analytics information, such as pages visited, referral source, browser and device information, approximate location signals, UTM campaign information, and events such as form starts, audit submissions, phone clicks, and email clicks.
How We Use Information
We use this information to respond to inquiries, provide website audits, prepare proposals, deliver services, communicate with clients and prospects, improve the website, understand which marketing channels are working, prevent spam or abuse, and operate billing or client-service workflows.
We do not use submitted project details to train public AI models. If AI tools are used to help draft internal notes, proposals, audits, or website content, we aim to limit inputs to what is reasonably needed for that work.
Analytics, Cookies, and Local Storage
This site uses Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights to understand website traffic, performance, and lead activity. These tools may use cookies, similar technologies, or device information to measure visits and interactions.
The site also uses browser local storage to remember first-touch attribution details, such as the first landing page, referrer, and campaign tags. This helps us understand which marketing efforts are bringing in leads.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or analytics tools may affect measurement, but the public website should still work.
How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers and tools that help us operate the business, such as website hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, audit services, spam prevention, and project communication tools.
Current providers may include Google Analytics, Vercel, Resend, Stripe, and Google PageSpeed Insights. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or customers, to investigate security issues, or as part of a business transfer such as a sale, merger, or restructuring.
Selling Personal Information
Havasu Web Studio does not sell personal information for money. We do not currently use remarketing pixels or targeted advertising tools that are intended to follow visitors around the web.
If that changes, this policy should be updated before those tools are used in a way that materially changes how visitor information is collected or shared.
Payments and Billing
Payments, subscriptions, invoices, and client billing portal access are handled through Stripe. Havasu Web Studio does not store full payment card numbers on this website.
Stripe may collect and process billing information, payment details, account identifiers, and related records according to its own privacy and security practices.
Data Retention and Security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to requests, provide services, maintain business records, understand marketing performance, meet legal or accounting obligations, and protect the business.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for a small service business, but no website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
Your Choices
You can contact us at derek@havasuwebstudio.com to ask for a copy of information you provided, to request a correction, or to ask that we delete information when we no longer need it for a legitimate business, legal, security, or accounting reason.
You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails if an unsubscribe option is provided, or you can ask us directly to stop sending non-transactional messages.
California and Nevada Visitors
Havasu Web Studio is based in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Because websites can be visited from anywhere, some visitors may have privacy rights under laws in their own state.
California law may require commercial websites that collect personally identifiable information from California residents to post a privacy policy. California's broader consumer privacy law applies only to certain covered businesses that meet specific thresholds. Havasu Web Studio does not currently believe it meets those thresholds, but you can still contact us with privacy questions or requests.
Nevada residents may have the right to opt out of certain sales of covered information. Havasu Web Studio does not sell covered information as that term is commonly used in Nevada's privacy law.
Children's Privacy
This website and these services are intended for business owners and adult decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy as the website, tools, services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
